School Life

School Life at Warwick Preparatory School begins at age 2 with the weekly "Nutkins" session. Children then move on to the Nursery from the age of 3.

Once they reach official 'school age' the boys and girls start in Kindergarten (known as Reception in many other schools) and then move on through Lower 1 (Year 1) and Lower 2 (Year 2).

During Lower 2 boys take the assessment test for Warwick Junior School and move across the campus for the start of Year 3. Girls stay with us at the Prep School through Middle 1 and Middle 2 (Years 3 and 4) and then Upper 1 and Upper 2 (Years 5 and 6).

During Upper 2 the great majority of girls take the entrance test for our sister school, King's High School. A small number of girls leave for Warwickshire's grammar schools and other independent schools.
