World War Two experience

On 7 June the Midlle One girls visited Cannock Chase Museum to learn more about their topic of World War Two. They experienced wearing a pretend gas mask and got the chance to examine actual artefacts from the era. They thoroughly enjoyed taking part in some short drama sketches about the evacuation of children and were able to look at a room that has been furnished with objects that would have existed during World War Two. Then on 8 June Mrs Reeves came to visit the Middle One girls for a question and answer session all about her experiences during World War Two. Mrs Reeves talked to the children about her own family experiences and feelings about the war and the girls asked some pertinent questions.
